Ukraine: Industry report for first half 2004

During the first half 2004 the industrial production in Ukraine increased 15.9% compared with the same period a year ago, www.elvisti.com.ua informs.The highest growth rates are in machine building (33.9%), pulp and paper and printing industry (32.1%), in non-metallic mineral products manufacturing (building materials, glassware, etc.) — 27.5%.
