Kiev prosecutor's office filed a suit against the illegal sale of 20% stake of Rubezhansky cardboard and tare enterprise (Lugansk region) on the Ukrainian stock market exchange in September 2004, as well as against abuse of power and fraud.
In 2004 state-owned company Ukrbumprom sold 20% stake of Rubezhansky for UAH 13.27 million. The stake was purchased by Invest-Consultant broker firm for MagaCom that was in the process of liquidation. Later on MagaCom sold the stake to Richmon Commercial Ltd. registered in the British Virgin Islands.
Rubezhansky is the largest manufacturer of corrugated cardboard in the CIS occupying 30% of the Ukrainian market of corrugated products.
In 2004 Rubipack (Rubezhnoe village, Lugansk region) controlled by Rubezhansky CEO Gennady Minin sold its 40.14% stake to a non-resident individual.
34.8% of Rubezhansky shares are owned by DSS Eastern Europe Limited (UK).
