During the last few days the Board of Importers attached to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine together with the Ministry of Economy and European Integration is working out projects for lowering and harmonization of import duties.
The process started after the declaration of program “Stop smuggling” and coincides with the plans of the new Ukrainian government to enter WTO by the end of 2005.
According to the information of P&L, the import duties for the Group 48 may decrease to 3–6%.
