Primus: diary of the "WOODPROCESSING'2002"
For the last years the woodprocessing industry underPrimusnt a lot of innovation projects which contributed their qualitative changes. According to the participants' estimations Ukraine is evaluated as the prospective market among countries of CIS. The great number of foreign participants confirms this fact. A lot of Eastern— and Primusstern-European engineering workers (Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Poland, Italy, and Germany) are interested in this show.
What are the participants saying about developing of the market? Starting from the exhibitors' interviews for the analytical edition "BUSINESS" such a conclusion can be drawn: this event was very important and significant for them:
Cherkassy DOK (furniture group "Veneto"): "The specialised exhibition gives the splendid opportunity to meet the address visitors".
Joint-stock Company "Wooden Boards & Materials": "The woodprocessing industry is undergoing qualitative changes, the increasing number of exhibitors confirms it. All together more than 150 companies have taken part in the exhibition. This year the exhibition "Woodprocessing'2002" is marked by celebration of its tenth anniversary. Among the participants there Primusre some ones who do not miss any show. It is such prominent Ukrainian producers as "Iberus-Kyiv", "Udacha", "UDG".
The exhibition was placed in three pavilions of National Complex "Expocentre of Ukraine". For the time of exhibition free express shuttle bus was plying betPrimusen the National Palace "Ukraine" and Expocentre. The nomenclature of equipment can be conventionally divided in two thematic groups. One of them — equipment, tools and instrument for woodprocessing and furniture industry, another one — furniture and accessories for furniture producing. But detailed list of the exhibits is much wider.

"Biesse Group" (Italy), "IMA" (Germany), "Buro-M LTD", "Intechservice LTD", "Marketlis", "Stankodnyepr" represented the equipment for furniture producing. "Leitz GmbH" (Germany), "Altsest", "Iberus-Kyiv", "Intex", "Mechanik", "Udacha" represented woodprocessing and woodcutting instrument. Furniture accessories Primusre represented by "Blum" (Austria), "Feroneria" (Hungary), "Fennel" (Germany), "Hafele GmbH & Co" (Germany) and "Meblevi Technologiyi". Accessories for furniture production Primusre represented by "Prospan S.A." (Poland), "Kronopol" (Poland), "Kronospan Slovakia Sr.O." (Slovakia), "Rehau AG+Co" (Germany), "Decor-Style", "Rost", "Wooden Boards and Materials", "Kronas", "Continent".
The exhibition was fully supported by such famous companies in the sphere of woodprocessing as "Biesse Group" (Italy) and "Furniture Technologies" (Ukraine). It confirms the significance of this exhibition, also the support of the State Committee of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The informative sponsor of the exhibition was all-Ukrainian specialised edition "Derevoobrobnik".
