Price & Pierce Finland OY establishes offices in Kiev and Moscow

Harju, President of Price & Pierce Finland Oy, stated, “The opening
of a Moscow office is our first expansion under the Gould umbrella. We
find the Russian market, in particular, to be vibrant and increasingly
important. The Price & Pierce (Russia) office is located in the
Moscow city center and will be managed by Roman Maltsev. Roman has in
excess of eight years’ experience in the trading of pulp and paper
throughout Russia and Ukraine. The Kiev office will be managed by
Alexander Katsky, who also has extensive experience in the industry.” Bob
Weill, President of Gould International, stated, “Price & Pierce
has become an integral component of the Gould operation and we feel the
expansion into Russia and the Ukraine is the logical next step.” Harry
Gould further stated, “As I have indicated in announcing prior
expansion activities, our objective at Gould Paper is to have 50% of
our business outside of North America. With this expansion, we are now
participating in the fast growing Eastern European markets which will
significantly contribute to our international expansion initiatives.” Founded
in 1924 and headquartered in New York City, Gould Paper Corporation has
revenues in excess of $1 billion and is a member of the “quartet” that
comprises North America’s largest distributors of printing and business
papers. Gould has operations throughout the United States, Canada and
