Malyn Paper Plant Ends Q1 With Profits Of UAH 0.26 Million
A representative of the plant disclosed to Ukrainian News.
In January-March, the Malyn paper plant increased production
by 14.5% or UAH 1.48 million compared with January-March 2002, to UAH 11.66
million.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in 2002 the plant
finished with losses of UAH 2.796 million.
In 2002, the plant reduced production by 19.5% or UAH 9.55
million compared with 2001, to UAH 39.449 million.
The Malyn paper plant specializes in the production of
electro-technical insulating materials (cardboard and paper), paper for food
products, and laminating paper.
Switzerland's Wicor Holding AG company owns 65% of the plant,
the state-owned Ukrpapirprom company — 25%.
In January-March the Malyn paper plant (Zhytomyr region) finished with net
profits of UAH 0.26 million.
