Forests' certification according to scheme of international NGO Forest Safety Council held in Zakarpattia region
According to experts, a wide
spectrum of the issues of the forest sector development will be solved
in such a way. In particular, the matter concerns not only prevention
of the poaching deforestation, but harmonization of ecological,
economic and social aspects of the forestry management. The forest
certification requires cooperation of the forestry with the local
population, development of the forest infrastructure and environmental
technologies of timber felling.As the State Forestry Committee informed,
forest certification is a voluntary initiative aimed at improvement of
the forestry enterprise and a practice of the forestry management.
