European ports increased pulp stores down 8% to 1445.3 thousand tons in September 2004
European ports reduced pulp stores 8% (130.2 thousand tons) to 1445.3 thousand tons in September 2004, according Europulp statistics.
The most drastic reduction of pulp stores was witnessed in Italy – down 23.3% (by 75.48 thousand tons). Belgium and the Netherlands declined pulp stores 8.5%, Germany – down 12.9%, Switzerland – down 13.1%. France increased pulp stores 6.4%, the UK – up 1.3$. The largest growth of pulp stores was witnessed in Spain – up 53.6%.
