Timber cargo loading by Russian Northern railways up 5.3% in first 9 months of 2004

Northern railways (an affiliate to Russian Railways) increased timber cargo loading 5.3% to 8.762 million tons in first 9 months of 2004 compared with the prior period in 2003, Northern railways public-affairs announced.

Overall cargo turnover increased 10.1% to 100.272 billion tons
