China: New plywood production
Raute Corporation has received two orders for plywood production machinery for China. The combined value of these orders is ca. EUR 4,8 million. The equipment will be delivered from Raute’s Nastola plant. Start up of the machinery is scheduled for summer 2005.
The order for Inner Mongolia Genhe Forestry Industry Co., Ltd. includes a high technology peeling line, a debarking machine and a sanding machine. These equipment will be installed in Yakeshi City, Inner Mongolia, China. Inner Mongolia Holonbuir CIMC Wood Co., Ltd. has ordered a scarf jointing line and a patching machine. Both companies will use local birch and larch as their main raw material.
