Trade fair "Furniture China 2002"

The Italian Foreign Trade Comission (ICE), as part of its promotional program for 2002 and in collaboration with Federlegno Arredo, the Italian wood and furniture association are organising a collective participation at the "Furniture China 2002" trade fair. The fair takes place in Shanghai from 11th to 15th September 2002 at the "New International Expo Center". According to the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank's reports, China is one of the fastest growing economies in Asia: 7.4%, with forecasts predicted at 10% over the next few years. Thanks to China's entry into the WTO, the freeing up of trade and commerce, the dropping of tariffs, as well as imports, will bring about a remarkable growth in the near future for the country.The building constuction industry is one of China's leading sectors, driving its economy.
