Pellets are becoming increasingly popular in Sweden
electricity prices have reached top levels many people
take note of the fact that pellets provide a both cheap and
environmental friendly alternative.
Increasing demand also gives an opportunity to introduce new products
and alternatives on the market. Fixed price supply contracts for one or
two years are becoming increasingly popular.
The number of house owners using pellets for heating recently increased
to more than 100 000. Swedish households bought 350 000 tons of pellets
during the first six months of this year. This is an increase of 72 %
compared to the year before.
