Ternat, 12 January 2001 — Mitiska Net Fund Europe, the European
venture capital fund investing in non-listed Internet companies, concluded 23
investments since its creation, for a total investment amount of 29 million EUR.
About 40.6% of the available capital of 71.5 million EUR has already been
invested. During the 4th quarter of 2000, 3 new participations have been
completed and 1 sold. The fund also made several follow-up investments in
existing participations. In total, Mitiska Net Fund Europe has 21 companies in

The three new investments of the 4th quarter are:
. Europeaninsurance.com (B) is the most important independent

manage their portfolio and sign-up for insurance products that best match their
requirements.

eStructure benefit from a minimum response time to their requests, independent

sold its participation in the on-line entertainment store Streets Online (UK).
Mitiska Net Fund Europe continues to invest selectively in
projects of a high quality, and hereby closely follows its investment strategy,
without being influenced by the frequently changing market tendencies. During
the last quarter of 2000, the investments amounts have been more dedicated to
existing portfolio companies than to new investments. This tendency will be
maintained in 2001, as more attention will be given to follow-up investments.
The number of investment requests remained very high during the
4th quarter, with a peak of 80 business plans received in one month. The most
important criteria for the selection of portfolio companies are the strong
management team, the growth potential and the sustainable competitive advantage
of the Internet application, which allows a company to become or remain a market
leader. Investment amounts average between 500,000 EUR and 3 million EUR per
transaction.
Overview of Mitiska Net Fund Europe's portfolio:
Since its creation, Mitiska Net Fund Europe took participating
interests in 12 Belgian, 6 French (of which 1 has been sold), 1 Dutch, 1
