Besides these three new investments, Mitiska Net Fund Europe sold its participation in the on-line entertainment store Streets Online (UK).

Mitiska Net Fund Europe continues to invest selectively in projects of a high quality, and hereby closely follows its investment strategy, without being influenced by the frequently changing market tendencies. During the last quarter of 2000, the investments amounts have been more dedicated to existing portfolio companies than to new investments. This tendency will be maintained in 2001, as more attention will be given to follow-up investments.

The number of investment requests remained very high during the 4th quarter, with a peak of 80 business plans received in one month. The most important criteria for the selection of portfolio companies are the strong management team, the growth potential and the sustainable competitive advantage of the Internet application, which allows a company to become or remain a market leader. Investment amounts average between 500,000 EUR and 3 million EUR per transaction.
