Danish Furniture Trade: The Danish trade balance in furniture in 2002 was positive with exports exceeding imports
Imports were stationary in 2002, at Euro 730 million
(up 0.6% compared to the previous year). The main trade partners were Sweden
(18.4% of total imports) and Italy (12.4%) down by 15.3% and 0.3% respectively.
The growth of imports from China was very interesting (up 95%) to a value of
Euro 41 millions or 5.6% of total imports.
