Finland: Sawn&Plywood Production
Plywood production continued to climb briskly and totalled 350,000 cubic metres in the second quarter, up 8% compared with the year before. Production in January-June reached a record 690,000 cubic metres, which was 12% higher than the year before.
Sawn softwood production inthe second quarter totalled 3.5 million cubic metres, up 1% from last year. Production in January-June totalled nearly 7 million cubic metres, which was 2% higher than last year?s figure.
