High demand lifts prices for Brazilian pine plywood
From January to September of 2003, pine plywood exports added up to US$ 220.5 million, 59.5% more than in the equivalent period of last year (US$ 138.3 million). Over the January-September period 2003, Brazil exported US$ 173.0 million in tropical plywood, 1.8% more than in the same period of 2002 (US$ 170.0 million).
